Design & Performance

The canvas upper keeps BAE26 lightweight and breathable for regular studio training. Its men's-specific construction uses a higher, wider vamp to provide comfortable coverage across a larger foot while maintaining a clean traditional ballet shape.

Underneath, separate suede forefoot and heel pads form the split sole, leaving the centre of the foot free to articulate naturally. This creates better flexibility through tendu, relevé and pointed positions than a traditional continuous sole.

A stretch nylon/spandex insert beneath the arch adds further flexibility through the midfoot and helps the shoe follow the instep more closely when the foot is pointed.

The crossed elastics are supplied half-sewn. One end is already attached to the shoe, while the remaining end can be positioned according to the dancer's individual instep before being stitched securely into place.
