Potassium metabisulfite releases sulfur dioxide to protect wine, cider, and mead from oxidation and wild microbes. It's also mixed into a solution as a no-rinse equipment sanitizer. A fundamental of clean winemaking.

How to Use

• Add a measured dose to must or finished wine to protect it.
• Typical rate: 1/4 tsp per 5-6 gallons.
• Or mix into a sanitizing solution for equipment.
